Qi of Calm is a lotion used for anxiety, stress and insomnia. I used it for stress and insomnia. It was a strictly nighttime routine for me. Basically I would use it in my nighttime routine to de-stress. I would put it on as recommended; spleen area (below the left ribcage), bottom of the feet and the front of the neck. I would then give it time to just rest for a bit. And then do my night time mindful meditation.
It has a very pleasant aroma to it that is soothing and it includes such things as: chamomile, lavender, skullcap, green tea, passionflower, ashwaganda, Brahmi ( helping with our emotional balance and insomnia). The essential oils used are: Frankincense, Sandalwood, Bulgarian Lavender, Chamomile, Bergamot and clove.
I cannot tell you if this would be a benefit for anxiety since I only have mild anxiety, some of the time, and my meditation seems to predominately assist with that. But I can say it has been beneficial in my de-stressing routine and promoting a sort of soothing restful state that prepares me for sleep. I think it works sublimely with my mindful meditation, since the Qi of Calm lotion is relaxing my body and senses while the meditation is calming my mind.
Lavender is always interesting to me in products because of the migraines. There is some research to suggest it can help with them. Not to mention other things like relaxation and sleep. I do understand, quite well, we have to be scent wary on certain days. And I am very scent wary on some days. So there are days for scents and days not for scents. But aromatherapy does have its benefits I have found. Not counting the absorption factor of lotions, but just the aromatherapy factor, there are benefits right there.
The bottle says it includes Hemp oil in it. Not only that but their products also have magnesium in them, which is important to me since I have migraines and FM… and alternative methods of magnesium ingestion are important to me. In fact, adding some at night when my migraines tend to be worse, before bed is generally a very good idea. I do in fact use a magnesium oil as well. This alone along with the fact they have MSM in the lotion, makes it a product I recommend. “We believe there’s a number of things that set us apart from other natural herbal lotions. Our organic herbal blends combined with therapeutic levels of MSM and Magnesium Oil bring an added dimension of relief. A great deal of research, careful thought and testing has gone into designing the entire line of Resonant Botanicals products. Our lotion products are scientifically designed to bring immediate relief and long term cumulative improvement.” Qi of Calm
