OSKA Pulse study on Fibromyalgia

I like to see this research because I use the Oska Pulse and in fact I affiliate with them to have a Blogger coupon code because I value the product that much for my chronic pain management. So let’s get into the study.

OKSA Pulse Coupon Code is ‘BRAIN’ for $55 dollars off the price

It was on 56 patients with FM. 28 in the PEMF group (OSKA is PEMF therapy) and 28 in the sham group who didn’t receive the actual treatment.

They did 30 minute treatments per day for 3 weeks. It was reported there was a 52% reduction in life interference in the PEMF group. And just a 11% in the sham group. The PEMF group reported statistically significant reductions in pain. (Study)

Other chronic pain:

In an exploratory study of PEMF therapy’s effects on postoperative pain, Hedèn11 also reports a three-fold decrease in subjective pain by the PEMF group compared to a placebo after only three days. Another study from 2014 evaluated the effects of PEMF and exercise on pain, muscle functioning, and muscle strength in patients with shoulder impingement syndrome (SIS).11 These 56 patients, randomly assigned to a PEMF plus exercise condition or placebo plus exercise condition, completed a three-week trial. Results indicated significantly higher levels of functioning and reduced pain in the PEMF group. The PEMF group also exhibited greater strength.11 (Study)

There is also a study on knee, shoulder, and back pain in that referenced article to read.

In regards to the FM study though that was basically my experience. I responded fairly quickly to the OSKA Pulse with my FM, faster than I did with my chronic migraines… which took about five months. But with FM I’d say it was about two months of continual use. And what I noticed first was that when I was exercising it was not longer excruciatingly painful. Exercise was such a painful thing for me. I’d start and then about a minute in the knee pain would be so intense… and wouldn’t stop. I have no idea how people exercise with pain is That is how it feels. I couldn’t get more than 20 min of just really so stationary bike riding in. But the OKSA pulse sort of just took that away and I was astonished by this. What exercise doesn’t have to be insanely painful? Obviously if you exceed your limits… still will be. But it made the process so much better for me.
