Poem: Shattered

This poem is a migraine poem. I wrote it with a migraine about migraine onset.

Migraine Poem Shattered

Shattered

Blue, black, and red

stars

dance behind the

mind

Pain shatters

within
and breaks the world

apart.

What can I do but,
crawl

through infinity,
to a new day to

rue.

Here comes

Blue

But Nothing
Matters
Shattered

  1. Your poem is beautiful! It does feel like the world is shattered and I feel like I’m fighting a dragon that wins every time . I try and try but it always wins and I surrender until it’s done with me . Then I’m exhausted pick myself up and try to live until dragon comes back again for meee which really isn’t too far away . It isn’t an easy life but it’s ours 🙂
